Token setup
3 мин. чтения
🛠 TOKEN SETUP– allows you to manage all tokens in the system. Here you can add new tokens, edit existing ones, check their technical condition and delete unnecessary ones.
⚠️ IMPORTANT!!! Before starting work, you must complete two mandatory steps:
-
Adding stablecoins: First of all, set up stablecoin contracts (USDT, USDC) for the selected blockchains that you plan to work with. It is the base currency for most trading operations.
-
Adding trading tokens: After that, add the contracts of the specific tokens that you are going to trade in the corresponding blockchains.
Attention: Work only with official token contracts to avoid losing funds.
📋 List of tokens #
Displaying all added tokens:
- Token Symbol— short name (BTC, ETH, XRP, SOL, PEPE, ARB)
- Native status— 🌐 for the main blockchain tokens
- Decimals— number of decimal places
- Trading Pair— to USDC or USDT
- Contract address— the full address of the token in the blockchain
➕ Add a token #
Step – by – step addition of a new token:
- Step 1: Entering the token symbol (BTC, ETH, XRP, SOL, PEPE, ARB)
- Step 2: Entering the address of the token contract
- Step 3: Specifying the number of decimals (usually 6-18)
- Step 4: The choice is a native token or a regular one.
- Step 5: Checking the RSI and data availability (optional)
- Step 6: Choosing a trading pair (USDC/USDT)
- Automatic savingto the database
💱 Trading pair selection #
Determining the base currency for trading:
- USDC pair— the token will be traded against the USDC (for example: BTC/USDC)
- USDT pair— the token will be traded against USDT (for example: XRP/USDT)
- Impact on trade: determines in which currency the profit/loss is calculated
- Stock symbol: automatically generated (BTCUSDC, XRPUSDT)
- Can be changed: by editing the token
📊 Check the Token’s RSI #
Double check – technical analysis and data availability:
- Data verification:
- Is historical data on the token available?
- Does the API work for getting prices?
- Is there any trading data for the selected pair
- Technical analysis of the RSI:
- RSI < 30 — перепроданность (можно покупать)
- RSI 30-70 — neutral zone
- RSI > 70 — перекупленность (можно продавать)
- Verification result:
- ✅ Data available + RSI indicator
- ❌ Data is unavailable — the token cannot be traded
✏️ Edit Token #
Changing the parameters of existing tokens:
- Choosing a tokenfrom the list with pagination
- Couple’s status: 🟢 enabled / 🔘 disabled
- Available changes:
- Updating the contract address
- Decimals adjustment
- Change of trading pair (USDC ↔ USDT)
🌐 Native Token #
The main blockchain token for paying commissions:
- What is it: the main token of the network (SOL, ETH, BNB, MATIC)
- Appointment: gas payment for all transactions
- Features: embedded in the blockchain protocol
- Limitation: only one native token per blockchain
- Management: status change via ” Edit Native Token”
🗑️ Delete Token #
Secure removal of unnecessary tokens:
- Choosing a tokenfrom the list
- Confirmation of deletion— protection against accidental deletion
- Complete cleaning: deleting the token and all related trading pairs
- Checking the activity: warning about open positions
⚙️ How it works #
- Token Symbols: short designations are used (BTC, ETH, XRP, SOL, PEPE, ARB)
- Trading Pairs: generated automatically (BTC/USDC, XRP/USDT)
- Data verification: The RSI analysis verifies the availability of trading data
- Keeping: all tokens are saved in the database
- Synchronization: The changes are immediately applied to trading
⚠️ It is important to remember #
- Use standard characters — BTC, ETH, SOL, XRP
- Check the availability of datathrough the RSI analysis
- Choose the right pair— USDC or USDT for trading
- Test it outwith small amounts after adding
