📘 Instructions for updating DEXBOT to the new version #

DEXBOT automatically informs you when a new version is released. A button appears in the message.” Update”, or the update can be performed manually.

🔄 Automatic update via Telegram #

When a new version is released, the bot sends a notification.:

A new version of DEXBOT is available
Click the button” Update” to install it.

After pressing the button:

• The update will be downloaded.,

• old files have been replaced,

• the database and configuration will be saved,

• the bot will restart automatically.

You don’t need to do anything else.

🔌 Step 1. Connecting to the server #

You can connectvia PowerShell, via MobaXterm, PuTTY, orvia the web hosting console.

Option 1. PowerShell (Windows) #

Open PowerShell and connect:

Where:

• username— login (usuallyroot),

• IP_server— The IP of your VPS.

Enter the password (no characters are displayed — this is normal).

Option 2. MobaXterm / PuTTY #

MobaXterm:

1. Session → SSH

2. Remote Host → Server IP

3. Login → root

4. OK

5. Enter the password

You are on the server.

Run the command:

Execute:

✅ Script automatically #

✔ will download the newest version
✔ will update the bot files
✔ will save your settings and license
✔ will check the database
✔ will restart the bot service

After the update is completed, you will see a completion message.

📦 Checking the installed version #

When the bot starts, it shows the current version, for example:

If the version has been updated, the figure will change.
